2 Day workshop
You’ve explored both Drypoint and Carborundum on acetate plates before, now you can take it to the next level.
Extending your current skills, Barbie will introduce you to methods for cutting out Jigsaw shapes from the acetate plates. These can then be re-constructed for printing to create innovative accomplished prints.
This workshop will include:
Review of carborundum and drypoint methods on acetate plates
Refining your mark making with both Carborundum grit and drypoint methods.
Methods for visualising and planning your jigsaw cut acetate shapes
Methods for layering your shapes
Experimentation for multi colour printing with your jigsaw shapes.
This workshop assumes that you have some prior experience with both Carborundum and Drypoint etching. You may have done a workshop or experimented on your own.
