Our vision is to inspire and support innovative printmakers.
Founded 25 years ago by the Baldessin family, the Baldessin Studio operates today as an independent social enterprise.
As a not-for-profit organisation, with Registered Charitable status (Deductible Gift Recipient), all donations over $2 are tax deductible.
Our studio workshop exists to support printmakers at every stage of their practice, from emerging voices to established artists, and we keep the doors open with the support of our generous volunteers – without their contribution we could not operate and for that we are extraordinarily grateful.
We need your help.
Our income comes primarily from workshops, studio access, donations and sponsorships. Like many arts organisations, rising running costs are making it harder than ever to keep our doors open – and our access fees accessible to all.
A donation to Baldessin Studio allows us to:
Maintain our specialist equipment and facilities
Continue to improve access, accessibility and safer operating procedures
Provide technical assistance to our artists and fellows
Deliver artist fellowships, support programs and exhibitions
Run workshops that share traditional and contemporary printmaking skills
