Mon & Tues Workshop
Using 2 acetate plates you will learn the techniques of Carborundum and Drypoint.
Learn how to achieve rich tone, texture and/or very strong colour applying carborundum grit and PVA glue on an acetate plate.
Dry point is the most direct form of intaglio printing, where a sharp point is used to scratch a mark directly into a metal, perspex or (in our case) acetate plate.
This workshop will give you techniques to print in registration from 2 seperate plates using 2 colours - one plate with your carborundum and one plate with your drypoint.
