Block, Print, Poster: Relief Printing

This masterclass is suitable for people with advanced printmaking experience. Dianne Fogwell is one of the most respected printmakers and artists book practitioners in Australia.

Here is your opportunity to spend 2 days working beside Dianne at The Baldessin Press Studio.

This masterclass and workshop will embrace the versatility and expressiveness of the relief process.

With examples and demonstrations, Dianne will take you through a practical step by step journey towards the outcome of a communal poster editioned on the large George Baldessin press.

Dianne will discuss drawing for the block, image creation, tools and the mark, registration and printing techniques for hand or the press.

This masterclass and workshop will not only create a unique work, but will “fine tune” for the experienced, troubleshoot some questions and inspire printmakers wishing to venture into the relief process.
