Set in St Andrews bushland, an hour from Melbourne, Baldessin Studio is a place where creativity blossoms. 

The beautiful bluestone building was designed and hand built by George and Tess Baldessin in the 1970s. It is made of recycled materials salvaged from demolished 19th-century buildings in Melbourne. 

Today Baldessin Studio has seen the development of some of this country’s finest printmakers and it continues to inspire new generations of artists. 

Come and spend some time in the beautiful bushland surroundings and be inspired by the printmaking studio, the creative works and the Baldessin legacy. See the printing presses. Enjoy coffee and tea. Look through the variety of beautiful prints made by artists in the studio and perhaps buy a print for that special Christmas present.
