This workshop offers a practical guide on how to use Adobe Indesign to create an interactive ebook.
For any artist this is an excellent way to document and collate your projects into a concise publication, that can be marketed on line, shared with art galleries etc.
Since 2013 Lloyd has documented most of his art projects http://lloydgodman.net/Publications/E_books.html
Who is the W/S for?
The workshop is designed for artists who have created a body of work and would like to document their work via a concise publication, like a catalogue or book which includes images and text.
Rationale: This workshop offers a practical introductory guide on how to use Adobe InDesign to create an interactive eBook (which can also be adapted for print out-put). As libraries fight for physical space to store hard copy publications, there has been a growth in eBooks, and many libraries including the State Library of Victoria now prefer eBooks to hard copy.
It is also a means of digitising an existing artist book.
