Drypoint & Carborundum - One day Workshop with Barbie Kjar ***Waiting List only***

One day Monday workshop. Learn how to achieve rich tone, texture and/or very strong colour applying carborundum grit and PVA glue on an acetate plate. Drypoint lines can be combined with the carborundum grit. Dry point is the most direct form of intaglio printing, where a sharp point is used to scratch a mark directly into a metal, perspex or (in our case) acetate plate.  

Cost: 
$250 per one-day printmaking workshop (full day’s tuition) with Barbie Kjar.

Workshop deposit payment will secure your enrolment. An invoice will be sent out with your enrolment acknowledgment.

A course fee refund will be given if:

  1. A class in which you are enrolled is cancelled, or

  2. Notice of your withdrawal from a class is given at least three weeks in advance

Please note:

On CODE RED days The Baldessin Press and Studio will be closed and no classes or activities will run.
On TOTAL FIRE BAN days The Baldessin Press and Studio will normally remain open, and staff will monitor official advice and weather. If weather escalates staff will consider cancelling activities. Any decision to cancel any workshops during the course of Total Fire Ban days will be made as a result of a notice from CFA of a “Watch and Act” or “Emergency Warning” affecting that area.
