Experiment with mark-marking – combine textures – layer colour
Explore one of the most versatile forms of printmaking – MONOTYPE/MONOPRNT.
In this workshop Atkins will demonstrate and engage participants in the endless possibilities of monotype, developing ideas and producing finished prints using water-based inks and watercolour paint. From the simple to the complex, from stencils to textured surfaces, from layering to exploring colour, participants will create original works of art on paper.
The workshop is perfect for beginners who are new to printmaking, but equally as engaging for more experienced printmakers who are looking to free up their practice and explore new possibilities.
